AU PAIR AND FAMILY TESTIMONIALS

First of all, I want to thank you for having this site. I found the best family an au pair can ask for through aupairconnect. We used an au pair agency after finding my host family for me to spend a year in the USA legally. My host family never had an au pair before me. It was a great experience for all of us. I learned so much through this experience. I believe it helped me build my character better and understand other cultures better.

I spent a year in the USA with a wonderful host family who treated me like a family member. The beautiful town I lived is called Bethesda. It is in Maryland and very close to Washington, DC. It is a great place to meet with people who are from all corners of the world. I had several au pair friends from all over the world, France, Germany, Brazil, Austria, Norway to name a few. We went to the movies, parks, sightseeing, museums, coffeeshops, malls and restaurants. Washington, DC is one of the best places to be an au pair. There is too much to do in the area. Weekends trips were also a great way to explore the beautiful scenery. There were many places that we could go on the weekend or even 1 day.

My host family has been very nice about always giving me a full weekend off. They knew that I had too much to see and learn in the US. They helped me with my English, driving skills. They encouraged me to go out and make new friends. The entire year with them has been a dream and I miss them very much.

I took care of 2 beautiful girls aged 2 and 5. We spent a lot of time taking walks, going to the playground, doing fun projects. In the summer, we spent most of our days at the pool. Some of my au pair friends in our neighborhood would join us and we would have a great time.

I wish my year never ended, but I had to return home to continue my studies. I had a great experience that I will never forget.
