I spent the last year with the best family in the UK thanks to your site. I loved being in the UK and my host family was very lovely. I improved my English and have more childcare experience now. I am back home now and teaching children. My aupair experience helped me get the job I love.

After registering at aupair connect, I searched the families in the system and bookmarked some of them. I paid for the membership to be able to contact these families. After contacting all the families, I knew the family in London was the best match for me. My host family asked me to be their aupair and I accepted the aupair job. After gathering all the paperwork, I got a visa at the British embassy in Turkey. I bought my plane ticket and arrived in London. My host parents and the children were all waiting for me at the airport. The children even gave me flowers. It was very sweet, I already felt right at home. When we went home and saw my room I was very impressed. My host mother prepared a very nice room for me and thought of everything I would need. My host family had a nice and comfortable house.

My family had two children, a boy and a girl. The boy was 7 and the girl was 8 years old when I started as their aupair. Every morning I helped them get ready for the school. Parents would leave for work early and I would take the children to school. After that, I had time for myself until 3 o'clock. I attended English classes during that time. I picked up the children from school and prepared them snacks. I helped them with their homework. The children also had activities like iceskating, football, swimming, and piano lessons. I took them to the activities as well. We had a lot of fun doing all these things together.

On most weekends I had the time off and met with my aupair friends. We usually explored the great city of London. There is a lot to do in London and there is something for everyone. I was never bored. We had two more aupairs in our street and we became best friends quickly.

I miss my wonderful host family and aupair friends. I email them and they send me the pictures of the children. I definitely recommend this experience to everyone. I experienced the British way of life with a British family. What more can I ask for?
