Au pair in Ireland

Ireland accepts au pairs from the European Union countries, Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway. Au pairs from these countries do not need a work permit but they have to register with the Irish police when they arrive.

Au pairs coming from other countries can obtain a student visa if they are registered to study English at an approved language school. Students can work for 25 hours a week while they study in Ireland.
