Aupair Position in Detail
Part one: Providing extra care and companionship for my mother, who is now in a nursing home just one town away from our home. She was struck by a near-deadly mystery illness about 18 months ago and, after a long and miraculous road, has survived and is recovering beyond any realistic expectations. Sending time with her the nursing home would be, at the most, apx. 15-18 hours in total over two or three visits a week. Part Two: The other part of the job would be light housework and some simple office assistant type work and, if wanted by the au pair, the possibility of spending a few hours a week as a sort of an intern in the fields of journalism and photojournalism.

Hi there! I'm looking for a smart and enthusiastic person with the ability to both be a secondary caregiver and companion to my mother who lives in a nearby nursing home a few hours a week and can do light housework one day w week and who is also interested in experiencing the life of a sports and music writer and newspaper photographer. In my line of work, I'm lucky enough to do for a living what most others do for fun and very often have the ability to bring an assistant with me to, for instance, such places as on the field at an NFL or college football game or backstage at a concert at Madison Square Garden in NYC.
