Aupair Position in Detail
Do you love having several kids around?? Are you able to multitask? Are you from a big family? Is a little occassional chaos OK? Our household is wonderfully fun, and sometimes a bit crazy! Currently, our oldest 2 children are in school during the day so we primarily need your support in caring for our 2 year-old during the morning hours and perhaps occassionally the NB (if you have significant baby experience). In the afternoon you will likely be planning activities for the 5 & 4 year old + the 2-year old--depending on his nap schedule. This schedule does change. We love sports, art, and music--and so should you. We need someone that is creative and fun--who will plan activities to do during a rainy day and play in the backyard when it is sunny. Flexibility, independence, respect, and attention to detail are important. You should be willing to take on household tasks, manage the kids laundry, and happily contribute to keeping the house tidy. Our kids are loving, kind and respectful.

Dear AuPair: We are a fun California family looking for a warm, loving, hardworking & flexible aupair. You would have a private room and hall bath on our first floor. We live within 2 blocks of Starbucks, movies, shopping etc. I do expect you to be very self sufficient and independent. As you might expect, we need the support of someone special like you! You and I need to be able to work together as a team. My husband is a sweet and funny Brit/Pak, but can be particular about some things--so good listening skills, attention to detail, and a respectful nature make a harmonious household. One funny example is keeping the bathroom door closed so our 2year old dosen't put his hands in the toilet water! If you are able to give me the support that I need, so that I can spend more quality time with my kids, and do my work, then I will be most appreciative! Our kids are joyful and very rewarding. We prefer to work with you directly--not through an agency. I hope to hear from you soon!
